Large Oil Rig Guide — All Three Card Rooms

Large Rig is a full expedition: the entire card chain, deck-by-deck scientist fights, and a crate event that announces itself to the whole map. Go with a crew, go with a plan.

Before you go

Green, blue, and red keycards (no fuses), boat + fuel, full combat kits, and deep ammo/meds reserves. Assign roles before you climb: who swipes, who holds the ladder, who watches the water for counter-crews.

The route

1. Take the lower decks. Board low, clear methodically upward. The rig’s ladders are chokepoints — control them and the platform is yours in stages.
2. Level 3 — green room. Swipe green at the fuse-box door: inside, a blue keycard and 2 military crates. The rig replaces the card you’ll spend next door.
3. Blue room. Adjacent on L3, swipe blue for the fuse box room leading to 2 elite crates.
4. Level 6 — red room. Climb to the white admin building under the helipad and swipe red: the locked crate is inside.
5. The hack. Start it and defend for 15 minutes against the Chinook’s 8 heavies — hold the stairwells, fight from cover, and watch for player boats the entire time.
6. Extract heavy. Crate open, loot split, straight to the boats — a successful Large Rig take makes your crew the server’s favorite target for the next hour.

After the run

Nothing recycles offshore; it all comes home raw. If the full take is too contested, remember the green and blue rooms alone are a strong, quieter haul — the hack is optional every single run.
